Q&A:

You can sign up as a free agent!  What’s that?

A free agent is typically a person who does not have a team to play with.  This allows you to register and then we will roster you to an already created team.  Many times, we have enough free agents to make a whole team, which allows everyone to meet new people!

What if I have a couple friends, but not enough to make a full team?

No problem, when you all register put in the comments section each person’s name you would like to play with and we will make sure you are rostered to the same team!

Do I get a team shirt?

Yes! Everyone that registers for this league before the late registration deadline will receive a team shirt!

What are the Rules?

Check them out here: HotMess Indoor Volleyball Rules

Is there an end-of-season tournament?

Yes! The last week of play will be an end-of-season tournament. The winning team will be crowned the league champion!

Are you interested in officiating? Here is some basic info:

For volleyball we utilize 3 judges per match. 1 Stand Judge & 2 Line Judges.  Stand Judges are a paid position. Line Judges are strictly volunteer positions.

Stand Judge: This is the primary official during a match that stands in the elevated stand at the side of the net. The stand judge is responsible for maintaining the flow of the match, monitoring the score, and upholding the rules of the game.

Line Judge: These judges stand on opposite corners from one another and are responsible for assisting with calls "on the line." This meaning they assist with making calls of "in" or "out" when the ball hits the court.
